Canadian Samsung Galaxy S8/S8+ and Galaxy Note 8 owners to soon receive Oreo

The Android Oreo update is heading for the Canadian border and those in the country totin' the Samsung Galaxy S8, Samsung Galaxy S8+ and the Samsung Galaxy Note 8. On its members app, Samsung Canada announced that the Galaxy 8 and Galaxy 8+ will receive the Android 8.0 update OTA starting on March 19th.  Those with the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will receive it on March 28th.

The most well known feature on Android 8.0 is the Picture-in-Picture capability that allows users to watch a video while still interacting with the app running in the background. Notification Channels will show, well, ...
